Yoga is wonderful, but it can be difficult to know which class to take. They can vary greatly in style, intensity and difficulty. Picking an appropriate class is crucial to having a good experience. Below is a guide to the different types of class we offer, to help you pick the one that is right for you.

beginners

What is all the buzz about Yoga? If you have been interested in Yoga but feel intimidated or unsure of how and where to start...this class is your chance! Follow the guidance of a trained yoga instructor who will keep you safe with good form and helpful modifications. This class is a good place to start for anyone who wants to start explore yoga, including those with physical limitations.

We have all of the props that you need to make your practice comfortable. We even have a mat waiting for you. Just bring you!

 

60 minute class

foundations of yoga

All about the details, this class is beginner friendly but the advanced practitioner will find value in the detailed style of instruction. Build a strong practice with a solid foundation. Alignment and breathing will be the focus. Poses are often practiced and then repeated so that the body begins to create good habits and muscle memory. 

 

75 minute class

gentle yoga

Begin your yoga practice safely with a breakdown of poses and gentle stretching. If you are just starting your yoga journey, healing from injury, or need to get into a stretching routine, this might be the right class for you. (60 minute class)

 

60 minute class

level 1

This class is perfect for those who have been through a Beginner's series, have some familiarity with yoga, or have activities or exercise already in their normal routine. This class will help you maintain and build your strength, balance, and flexibility. It will not only serve to deepen your physical practice but also to calm the mind.

 

60 minute class

level 1-2

This class bridges the gap between the Level 1 and Level 2 classes. Props are used to modify and deepen poses. Cues are offered so the practitioner has the option to layer on deeper expression of postures. Vinyasa/sun salutations are cued for practice. This class can take on more of a ‘flow’ sequence once postures are mastered as a foundation.

 

60 minute class

level 2

This class will be suitable for those with an established practice or a strong base of mobility and strength. This class will offer a build to more advanced postures. Vinyasa and Flow sequences are incorporated. Varied inversion practices will be taught and practiced. Yoga experience highly suggested.

 

75 minute class

restorative

Our bodies have an innate ability to relax under the right circumstances. Restorative yoga uses a series of easy, supported poses held for a longer period of time and with the use of many supportive props.

 

Under the conditions provided in restorative yoga, immediate effects on heart rate, blood pressure and brain activity are possible. Complete muscular relaxation and comfort are emphasized to achieve a quiet state of mind and body.

 

75 or 90 minute classes

friday morning flow

This is a morning class for all you early risers out there. Combining a range of styles and sequences, the difficulty of this class is comparable to a level 1 class.
